The previously released emails revealed early discussions over possible presidential campaign strategies for Hillary Clinton, showed the campaign members listing Donald Trump as a good Republican opponent as he would be likely to sink himself, unveiled the debates on what stance Clinton should take on the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline later vetoed by the US government.

In July, WikiLeaks published nearly 20,000 hacked emails that apparently showed DNC members discussing ways to undercut Clinton's rival Bernie Sanders in the race for the Democratic nomination.
