MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The official urged to engage with Russia and to persuade Russian President Vladimir Putin that there was an alternative path in Syria and other crises.
"I don't think it's entirely right… to talk about a new Cold War but it is obvious… that we have a serious problem," Johnson told a parliamentary committee.
"We have things we must do together, we have common interests. But at the moment, the behavior of the Russian government is making it very very hard to pursue those interests together," he added.
