MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Earlier in the day Lavrov announced that representatives of Russia and the United States would meet with their colleagues from regional powers such as Turkey and Saudi Arabia on Saturday for talks on Syria.
"I hope [it]… but will launch a serious dialogue on the basis of the principles contained in the Russian-American deal which was broadly welcomed but which unfortunately was not launched," Lavrov told CNN.
