MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Voters opposed a landmark peace deal with FARC rebels in a shocking referendum outcome as 50.24% of voters opposed the deal.

“I will not give up, [I will] continue to search for peace till the last day of my mandate,” Santos said in a televised address to the nation, adding that the ceasefire agreement would remain in force despite the fact, that Colombian people did not express support for the peace deal.
