NEW YORK (Sputnik) — A US delegation official said Lavrov's meeting with Kerry focuses on the compliance with the expired week-long ceasefire in Syria, as well as alleged strikes on a humanitarian convoy near Aleppo that the Red Cross and Red Crescent said killed 20 civilians.
The official noted that contacts maintained between the diplomats since September 12 are planned to continue over the next days.
