    A Serbian honorary consulate will be opened in St. Petersburg on October 12 by Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic during his visit to Russia, according to a source in the Serbian Foreign Ministry.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic will visit Russia to open the country’s honorary consulate in St. Petersburg on October 12, a source in the Serbian Foreign Ministry told RIA Novosti on Tuesday.

    "A Serbian honorary consulate will be opened in St. Petersburg on October 12. Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic will open the consulate," the source said.

    The source said Nikolic's meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin has not been planned.
