THESSALONIKI (Sputnik) – Greece is going to develop ties with Russia in all spheres, country’s Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said at the opening ceremony of the 81st Thessaloniki International Fair.

“This year it [the fair] honors the friendly country – Russia. That is a country that had historical, cultural and spiritual ties with us. That is a country that is playing an important role in the international political and economic arena and we are striving for continuous deepening economic, diplomatic and cultural ties with it,” Tsipras said.
