The United States is concerned by the fifth and latest nuclear test carried out by North Korea earlier in the day and intends to raise the issue with the UN Security Council, US State Secretary John Kerry said Friday.

GENEVA (Sputnik) – Before convening talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Geneva, Kerry said he had "serious" talks with counterparts from Japan and South Korea on the subject.

He added that China, Russia and the United States share concerns surrounding Pyongyang’s tests.
