    Monday’s meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Barack Obama was proposed by the US leader, a source in the Russian delegation in China told RIA Novosti on Sunday.

    HANGZHOU (Sputnik) — Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that the meet-up will be held on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Hangzhou, east China.

    "Obama came up to Putin and proposed it," the source in the Russian delegation, participating in the summit of the world’s 20 major economies, said.
