VLADIVOSTOK (Sputnik) — The United States keeps playing "anti-Russian cards" during election campaigns, while at the same time ensuring Moscow that everything is actually fine, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"I've seen on several occasions that anti-Russian cards are being played during internal political campaigns in the United States. I believe this is a very short-sighted approach," Putin told Bloomberg.
"At the same time, we are receiving all sorts of signals from all sides, that everything is fine in reality. This happened with previous administrations during election campaigns…But, you know, I don't think this meets the level of responsibility that rests on the United States' shoulders," the president added.
