Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump will restore the image of the United States and its military on the world stage and will provide the necessary resources to fight terrorists, trump vice presidential running mate Mike Pence said in a campaign speech on Thursday.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – Last week, Clinton’s running mate Tim Kaine also held rallies in New Hampshire. Both campaigns see the swing state as a battleground for the 2016 general election.

"We won’t be paying ransoms to terrorism sponsoring states, they will be paying the price," Pence stated at the rally in Manchester, New Hampshire. "We are going to rebuild the American military and stand by our soldiers. We will command respect [in the world]."

Pence blamed Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton for the American victims in the 2012 terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya, claiming the former secretary of state "should be disqualified from serving as a commander-in-chief."
