Lavrov: Russia Not Violating UNSC Resolution by Deploying Jets to Iran
BRUSSELS (Sputnik) – The Russian Defense Ministry said earlier in the day it used the Hamadan airfield for the second day of its anti-Daesh mission in Syria.

"Significant Russian military presence aimed at supporting the Assad’s regime causes concern. The fact that most Russian airstrikes are targetin

moderate opposition groups does not help to decrease risks and challenges for the regional security," the spokesperson told RIA Novosti.

The spokesperson added that NATO is making efforts to find political solution to the Syria conflict.

"NATO itself is not participating in the anti-Daesh operation, this position remains unchanged," the spokesperson said.
