WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, Turkey's Ambassador in Moscow Umit Yardim told reporters that Turkey and Russia will start active consultations on Syria in the nearest future.
"We’ve seen those reports certainly. We remain in close contact with our Turkish allies and our partners in the fight against Daesh. We’ve been clear if work against Daesh… is a priority for all of us, if this is truly a step in that direction, we would welcome that," Trudeau said.
