UK Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson urged on Tuesday to reduce violence and improve humanitarian access in Syria.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On July 19, Johnson met with foreign ministers from Germany, France and Italy, and with the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Federica Mogherini to discuss the Syrian crisis.

Syria has been mired in civil war since 2011, with government forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar Assad fighting numerous opposition factions and extremist groups.
