This is Who NATO's Real Enemy is and It's Not Russia
WARSAW (Sputnik) — Speaking of the informal dinner the NATO leaders held on Friday evening, Stoltenberg said that NATO leaders agreed to build their relations with Russia on defense and dialogue.

"The main message from that dinner is that the alliance is united, that we stand together in our approach [toward Russia], based on defense — strong defense, and constructive dialogue," Stoltenberg.

"We don't see any immanent threat against any NATO ally. Russia is neither the strategic partner. We are not in a strategic partnership with Russia which we tried to develop after the end of the Cold War, but we are neither in the Cold War situation. We are in a new situation which is different from anything we have experience before," Stoltenberg told reporters at the NATO summit in Warsaw.

NATO summit is taking place in the Polish capital on July 8-9.
