The NATO summit in Warsaw, Poland will not include any negotiations with Russia, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said in a briefing on Friday.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Russia will try to start a dialogue with NATO about the safety of Baltic airspace.

"I did not see exactly what President Putin was suggesting… but in the context of the NATO summit, I am not aware of any specific or prominent Russian role or negotiation that will be started," Earnest stated.
