Syria's Opposition Group Calls for Substantive Next Round of Syrian Talks
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Syrian President Bashar Assad tasked Electricity Minister Imad Mohammad Deeb Khamis with forming the new government on June 22. The following day, a source close to the process told Sputnik that members of the national opposition residing on the Syrian territory were likely to join the Arab republic’s new government.

"Certainly not. In my opinion, this will never be possible… With regard to the new government, the essence is not in the seats. Negotiations are required, and if they fail, it will be necessary to find other solutions," Jabra said, commenting on whether the external opposition members might be represented in the new government.

Syria’s Tomorrow emerged in March in a new bid to unite liberal opposition forces under one umbrella organization.
