Prime Minister David Cameron urged British citizens to vote for remaining within the European Union despite "frustrations."

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – UK Prime Minister David Cameron called on his country’s nationals Tuesday to vote for it to remain in the European Union for the future of the country.

"I want to speak very directly to those of my generation and older. I know Europe isn’t perfect. Believe me I understand those frustrations, and I feel them myself… As you take this decision to remain or leave, think about the future of your children and grandchildren," Cameron said as quoted by the Mirror newspaper.

The prime minister stressed that the future rested upon the outcome of the Thursday referendum, reminding that the decision would not be reversible.
