    Foreign intelligence services have stepped up activities to damage Russia in information sphere, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev said Tuesday.

    CHEBOKSARY (Sputnik) — He added that the widespread use of foreign information technology and software creates preconditions to block Russian government's infrastructure.

    "The intensification of intelligence and other activities of foreign states and organizations' special services, aimed at damaging Russian interests in the information sphere has been noted," Patrushev told a security meeting.
