MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Macron unveiled his so-called Great March movement, dedicated to the launch of his En Marche! (Forward) political party, in April, while neither confirming nor denying plans to run for the president.

According to Le Figaro newspaper, the stated aim of Macron’s campaign is to find out a "diagnosis" for France's internal affairs.

The Great March is expected to start from the city of Marseilles and continue through France, covering some 50 cities in the country by the end of summer, according to the French daily.
