MOSCOW, May 10 (Sputnik) — Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US State Secretary John Kerry discussed in a phone call on Tuesday additional efforts to ensure sustainable ceasefire and political process in war-torn Syria, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
"Lavrov and Kerry continued the discussion of ways to resolve the Syrian conflict through sustainable ceasefire…and support of intra-Syrian dialogue in Geneva under UN auspices," the ministry said in a statement.
According to the statement, the top diplomats also considered the best ways to use the International Syria Support Group in Syrian reconciliation process.
