BEIJING (Sputnik) — On May 5-6, the delegation of Russian lawmakers headed by Naryshkin is on an official visit to China.
"It's been said that the two sides will possibly reach important agreements during the visit," Pushkov said at the close of a meeting between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian parliamentary speaker Sergei Naryshkin in Beijing.
In late April, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov confirmed that Putin would visit China for a bilateral summit in June 2016.
Putin and Xi agreed to hold regular meetings to coordinate their stances on global matters in November 2015.
