MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting scheduled for April 7-8 in the Armenian capital of Yerevan will proceed as planned regardless of the armed conflict that erupted between Armenia and Azerbaijan in the de facto independent republic of Nagorno-Karabakh, the organization’s press service said Monday.
It was earlier reported that Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev is to visit Armenia and meet with the heads of governments from the Eurasian Economic Union.
“There are not any plans to change the program at the given moment in holding the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council,” the organization’s press service told RIA Novosti.
