US Sees Progress in Russia Recommitting to INF Treaty
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – On Thursday, US Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Rose Gottemoeller said in a hearing Washington noted "some progress" in Russia’s willingness to "recommit" to the INF at the "highest level."

"It is encouraging to us. I would hope that these assessments indicate the United States’ intention to respond more substantively in terms of how the US fulfills the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty," Mikhail Ulyanov told RIA Novosti.

Ulyanov noted that without Washington’s willingness, "counting on substantial progress can be difficult."
