BRUSSELS (Sputnik) — President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker expressed confidence on Thursday in EU leaders and Ankara reaching a final agreement on stemming refugee influx into the European Union within two days.
"I'm pretty certain, I am convinced, that we will reach an agreement with Turkey today or tomorrow," Juncker told reporters before the EU-Turkey summit in Brussels.
He added that the pact would comply with European laws and the Geneva Convention.
