    US State Department spokesman John Kirby said that US Secretary of State John Kerry did not speak with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov since Russian President Vladimir Putin's announcement of the withdrawal of its air group from Syria.

    WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — US Secretary of State John Kerry had no conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov since Moscow’s announcement of the withdrawal of its air group from Syria, US State Department spokesman John Kirby said on Tuesday.

    “I can tell you he has not spoken with Foreign Minister Lavrov since President Putin’s announcement,” Kirby said.
