    UN Syria Envoy Says Received Gov’t Proposals on Crisis Settlement

    UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura said that he got documents with proposals on Syrian settlement from the government delegation.

    GENEVA (Sputnik) – UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura announced on Tuesday he received proposals on the Syrian crisis settlement from the governmental delegation, expressing hope to receive a motion from opposition as well.

    "I did get documents (with proposals on settlement) from the government delegation, and I will be getting documents from opposition, we will analyze them," de Mistura told reporters after meeting with delegation of the Riyadh-formed opposition High Negotiations Committee (HNC).
