Moscow Generally Satisfied With 'Fragile' Ceasefire in Syria
GENEVA (Sputnik) – Borodavkin said that the Russians and Americans military are also in contact on a daily basis.

“We have established good cooperation within the frameworks of the target group for the cessation of hostilities with both the Americans and with other participants from the [International Syria Support Group] that have influence on the ground. Each incident or any information that is sent to the UN ‘operation center’ on monitoring the truce is reviewed by Russian and American representatives in Geneva,” Borodavkin said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Diplomats and military officials from both Russia and the United States are working together regarding the cessation of hostilities in Syria, Borodavkin said.

“We understand quite well that there are forces, including terrorist groups, that are trying their best to make the cessation of hostilities fail, and roll back the process of the truce and the political settlement in Syria. This is why Russian and American diplomats and military officials in Geneva are working together so as not to allow this scenario to unfold.”
