European Council President Donald Tusk said that the European Union and Turkey have agreed on principles of a plan which stipulates that Ankara will take back all illegal migrants who have arrived from Turkey to Greece, including the acceleration of visa liberalization, additional funding and new safe areas in Syria.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The European Union and Turkey have agreed on principles of a plan which stipulates that Ankara will take back all illegal migrants who have arrived from Turkey to Greece, including the acceleration of visa liberalization, additional funding and new safe areas in Syria, European Council President Donald Tusk said Tuesday.

"We agreed to work on the basis of the following principles: the return of all new irregular migrants crossing from Turkey into the Greek islands, the acceleration of the implementation of the visa liberalization roadmap, the speeding-up of the disbursement of three billion euros and additional funding for the refugee facility for Syrians, the preparation for the opening of new chapters in the accession negotiations, the possibility of establishing in Syria areas which will be more safe and, finally, to resettle Syrian refugees on a one-for-one basis," Tusk said at a press conference following the EU-Turkey summit.

On Monday, the Turkey-EU summit on migration took place in Brussels. The summit focused on stemming migration flows into the European Union. During the event, the sides discussed cooperation on migration, focusing on a speedy implementation of the EU-Turkey action plan approved in November.

"The days of irregular migration to Europe are over," Tusk said, adding that the Balkan route used by migrant to reach Europe, was due to stop its existence.

". . . the possibility of establishing in Syria areas which will be more safe . . . ." is a principle upon the basis of which the EU and Turkey will work, according to this.

If they weren't such tunnel brained liars, after five years of trying to destroy Syria they would see the tunnel brained idiocy in their statement, but that is probably too much to ask from tunnel brained liars.

Decisive affirmative action finally only when the refugee issue has slowed to a trickle! and Turkey is desperate to gain advantages in creating there buffer zone and no fly zone how devious just build camps in the intended areas with no consultation with Syria and or Russia!!?

Then demand UNSC creates these zones to protect refugees in there own country???? what about protecting the civilian population from the start by stopping the US/NATO/SAUDI/ISRAEL/TURKEY war plan.

I think Russia and Syria may have a better plan, defeat Daesh bring about peace and return the refugees.

After US/NATO/ISRAEL/SAUDI/TURKEY rebuild Syria for free! watch them run for cover on that one.
