MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US State Secretary John Kerry discussed Syria ceasefire parameters reported to Russian and US leaders in two additional phone talks, the Russian Foreign Ministry’s press service said Sunday.
"Two additional telephone conversations between Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov and US Secretary of State John Kerry took place in the evening of February 21. During their course, the parameters of the ceasefire in Syria reported to Presidents Vladimir Putin and Barack Obama were further coordinated," the service said in a Facebook post.
The ministry said in a statement issued hours earlier that Lavrov and Kerry continued to discuss the modalities for the cessation of hostilities in Syria.
