OREL (Russia) (Sputnik) A delegation of German lawmakers may visit Russia this fall, a member of the German parliament and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) said Friday.

"There is a Russian-German parliamentary group. A visit to Russia is planned in September this year," Andrej Hunko said on the sidelines of the economic forum in the western Russian city of Orel.

Hunko, a left-wing Die Link party member and deputy chair of the Unified European Left, clarified that he was not a member of the parliamentary group and was unable to name the German lawmakers planning their Russia visit.
