MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko discussed political and economic cooperation and agreed the schedule of upcoming contacts, the Kremlin press service said.
The telephone call took place at Belarus' initiative.
"[The presidents] discussed a number of topical issues of bilateral political and economic cooperation and confirmed the mutual commitment for further strengthening the strategic partnership. The schedule of upcoming top-level contacts was coordinated," the press service said.
