MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev and his Finnish counterpart Petteri Orpo discussed bilateral cooperation in law enforcement at a meeting on Tuesday, the Russian Interior Ministry's press service said in a statement.

"[The two ministers] addressed the issues of improving cooperation between law enforcement agencies of the two countries in such areas as the international arrest warrants, cross-border cooperation, the exchange of operational information," the statement reads.

Kolokoltsev and Orpo also addressed the increasing migrant flow into the European Union, according to the press service.

The Russian interior minister stressed that Moscow is ready to enhance cooperation with Helsinki in all areas of law enforcement operations.
