    Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande discussed the implementation of the Minsk peace agreements and elections in Donbass during a telephone conversation, Porosheko's press service said.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The leaders also discussed preparations for Ukraine to restore full control of the border.

    "The sides discussed further steps to implement the Minsk agreements, particularity the coordination of local elections in certain areas of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions in accordance with Ukrainian legislation," the press service said in a statement.
