Sudan Hopes for Strategic Partnership With Russia
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Sudanese counterpart Ibrahim Ghandour “noted the traditionally amicable character of Russian-Sudanese ties,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The two foreign policy chiefs exchanged congratulatory messages in which they confirmed “readiness in Moscow and Khartoum to diversify Russian-Sudanese cooperation.”

The two countries are looking at ways to deepen political dialogue and strengthen cooperation in trade, economy, investment and humanitarian operations.
