Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has commented on Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s words about the efficiency of the German presidential system under the leadership of Adolf Hitler, saying that “a great deal now becomes clear, in fact.”

“Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Germany under the leadership of Adolf Hitler was an example of an efficient presidential system, according to Reuters. A great deal now becomes clear, in fact,” said Maria Zakharova on her page in Facebook.

СМИ:"Президент Турции Тайип Реджеп Эрдоган назвал Германию времен правления Гитлера примером эффективной президентской системы, передает Reuters"Многое становится понятным, кстати.

The comment comes after the Turkish media reported on Friday that the Turkish leader had said that Germany under the leadership of Adolf Hitler was an example of a presidential system which was able to maintain the unitary nature of the state.

"Yes, there are no reasons not to have presidential system in an unitary state. There are such examples in the world and there have been such examples in the past. When you look at Hitler's Germany, you will see it," Erdogan told reporters, as quoted by the online news portal T24, when asked if the presidential system was able to maintain the unitary structure of the state.

My God give it up already! Turkey called putin's bluff and punched him in the nose and there is nothing he can do about it. Continually bringing up every petty thing you can only embarrasses russia more and reminds everyone how powerless they are

Perhaps not relevant, but his affinity for Hitler extends to his appearance, manner, and demagoguery. Almost a clone! (and completely a clown).

Maria Zakharova should have said: "Erdogan thinks a German presidential system can make any buffoon Hitler and any fake country Germany."

Fits to this talking ape. In other hand. The Nazis are everywhere. They never lost the war, the people did. The NATO-crime syndicate was/is the continuation of the Nazi-Regime. Erdogan just pointed it out. Time to finish those fascistic murderers, rapists and organ-sellers!!

Those last hours, with the Red Army bearing down on him, I'm sure Hitler was congratulating himself on his ability to maintain the unitary structure of the state. Must have been a comforting consolation right before putting a bullet in his head.

Sasha Smirnoff, I will say, Hitler had a better moustache though. Erdogen just looks like he missed a bit shaving.

poofipoofipoofi, no worries. He did not die that way. He was saved by the US and happily in south america. As the US saved thousands of Nazis after the war. Some of those went direct to the US, but most just went on. Around 70.000 been pardoned by the US and placed in the Adenauer government. Germany did not change, not at all. It just changed a bit "colors"...

I do not know anything about your intelligence, age, education and all that is left is to judge you through your comments posted over here. Unfortunately they do not give you any credit as they are in essence absolutely worthless. However not to jump before cart let me educate you about matter.

If you would understand meaning of geopolitical strategies you would realise that Russia is winning this war of propaganda hands down. Russia unnerved Erdogan and west as well so much that they in their desperation for false justification started to show true colours. I assume that you are living in one of western / NATO countries and that your knowledge reflects your mainstream media writing about subject. I am fully aware of its influence as over here in Germany we are flooded with false information so blatantly that it just hurts. Our media made our population numb and dumb in every respect and they simply do not bother about politics about war and peace any more, all they care is how to live comfortable life as much as possible.

Now if instead Putin, who is proving on daily basis how intelligent and well educated he is, there would be some on equal as our western idiotic leaders there would be already finished WW3 with absolutely clear outcome – NO SURRVIVORS ON THE NORTHERN HEMISPHERE! You got that? Both countries have more than 15.000 nuclear warheads and some of them (Russian for that matter) are over 6250 (six-thousand-two-hundred-fifty) times more powerful than was Hiroshima nuclear bomb. I am speaking about 150 Megaton thermonuclear bombs developed in Soviet Union decades ago and are Globe smackers on a grand scale.

In your little mind you obviously cannot comprehend the consequences for the world if Russia would start war against NATO. Do ypou believe it would be limited between Russia and Turkey? No not for as long as Turkey is member of NATO. Beside that I know Turkish people very well from my business experiences with them and I know that only brainwashed and religious influenced poor peasants from poor Antalya are supporting Islamist Erdogans criminal gang. Ask yourself why would Russia punish innocent people for the criminal activities of that Islamic Hitler, by bombing them to submission and killing them in hundreds of thousands as Turkish army is not match for Russian military might?

Reason for that is simple, NATO enjoys in killing weak and innocent because they never really experienced serious destruction and death in both previous wars. On other hand we killed about 30 million Russian and destroyed majority of their European part of country and still they were the ones who destroyed Hitler's Nazi army and not the west as they are boosting now. Russian politicians are very conscious and intelligent people who care about innocent people. Just have look at USA who had in 70 years over 200 military conflicts and 40 wars against innocent nations which not a single one in no way ever threatened American safety or integrity caused directly and indirectly over 20 million of deaths of mostly innocent civilians. Look no further than Vietnam where they intervened on a side of South Vietnam and that caused over 4 million deaths mostly amongst civilians, Iraq over 1 million civilians deaths and so on. All is well documented and supported with undeniable evidence.

Compare that with Soviet Union/Russia and you will see who is real villain on this planet.
