MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Speaker of Russia’s upper house of parliament Valentina Matvienko said Thursday she sees “no expediency” in speaking with the Turkish Parliament and contacts between the two legislative bodies will not be renewed.
“We can’t shake hands with the Turkish leadership. In the current conditions I don’t see the expediency or reason to have relations with the Turkish Parliament,” Matvienko said.
