Russia Wants Normal Relations With US, Sees Many Areas for Cooperation

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Moscow and Washington have many areas for joint work, both bilaterally, first of all in economy, investments, as well as in terms of facilitating the solution of international problems.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russia wants normal relations with the United States and sees many areas where the two countries could cooperate, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Wednesday.

"Like any other country, we want normal relations with the United States. We have many areas for joint work, both bilaterally, first of all in economy, investments, as well as in terms of facilitating the solution of international problems," Lavrov said in an interview with Italian media.
