Russia Regrets US Playing 'Sanctions Games' Instead of Tackling Threats

The irresponsible destruction of Russia-US ties will remain on Washington's conscience, the Russian Foreign Ministry's statement said.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russia's Foreign Ministry said Thursday it regrets that the United States plays "sanctions games" and destroys bilateral relations instead of joining efforts against common threats.

"It is regretful that the United States, instead of consolidating efforts in the fight against common threats, continues to enthusiastically play sanctions games and destroy Russian-US relations. This irresponsible approach will remain on Washington's conscience," the ministry said in a statement.
