WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The leading US coordinator for the Iran nuclear deal, Stephen Mull, will go to Vienna on Saturday for talks on further steps in the agreement implementation, the State Department announced in a press release.

“Lead Coordinator for Iran Nuclear Implementation Ambassador Stephen D. Mull will travel to Vienna, Austria on November 21 for meetings on implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA),” the release said on Friday.

In Vienna, Ambassador Mull will meet with other participants to the JCPOA and experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the State Department added.

The last round of Syria talks in Vienna took place on November 14 and involved world and regional powers, including the United Nations, Russia, France, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Turkey and the United Nations.

In July, the group of P5+1 negotiators signed a historic deal guaranteeing the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear activities in exchange for sanctions relief.
