Syria’s participation in reconciliation talks will be discussed during the so-called Vienna-3 talks, the coalition leader of Syria’s Popular Front for Change and Liberation told Sputnik on Thursday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The next round of talks on the Syrian settlement will be held on November 14 in Vienna, where the participants will focus on agreeing the list of representatives from Damascus and the Syrian opposition who may participate in talks.

"Syria’s participation in further negotiations in Vienna will be discussed during the Vienna-3 talks," Qadri Jamil said.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said earlier that Russia had presented to its co-negotiators on the Syrian reconciliation in Vienna a list of Syrian opposition groups it believes should be invited to future talks with the current authority of the Middle Eastern country.

"Moscow has proposed 38 names, these are all those invited to the Moscow-2 [Syrian talks]," Qadri Jamil told RIA Novosti.

Moscow served as a host city for two rounds of talks between the Syrian government and opposition factions in the country, in January and in April 2015, in an attempt to stop the four-year Syrian civil war.

According to Jamil, the Saudi Arabia has proposed 25 names to be included in the Syrian opposition list. The party leader said the delegation due to represent the Syrian opposition during the peace talks should be made up of no more than 30 people while still involving all groups that seek a political solution to the crisis.

On October 30, top diplomats from about 20 countries, comprising Russia, the United States, Saudi Arabia and Turkey, as well as many other officials, met in the Austrian capital of Vienna to discuss efforts to end the four-year civil war in Syria.

Some Syrian opposition parties are not content with the format of the Vienna-2 talks on the Syrian reconciliation, a member of the Kurdish Democratic Union Party said Thursday.

"We are not completely content with the representation at the Vienna-2 [talks], first of all there was no Syrian representation," Khaled Issa said.

"Secondly, all demands of various national and confessional groups in Syria are not taken into account in the Vienna declaration. Syria needs a secular nature and democratic federalism. We are calling for national autonomy of some regions, for example in the north, where Kurds, Assyrians and Turkmens live," Issa said.
