BISHKEK (Sputnik) – According to the ministry, Kerry will also meet Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev.
"On Saturday… a press conference will take place with the participation of Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Erlan Abdyldaev and US State Secretary John Kerry. State secretary Kerry in Bishkek will participate in the opening of a new campus of the American University of Central Asia, as well as the new building of the US embassy in Kyrgyzstan," the ministry told RIA Novosti.
Kerry will be visiting the country during his first Central Asia tour, taking place on October 28-November 3. The official is also visiting Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan.
