North Korea Ready for Dialogue if US Signs Peace Settlement - FM
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The United States will not budge on its stance toward North Korea despite Pyongyang’s plea at the UN General Assembly to strike a peace deal with Washington, a State Department official told Sputnik on Friday.

"Our [United States] policy has not changed, and we will judge North Korea by its actions, not its words," the official said.

On Thursday, North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Su Yong told the UN General Assembly that Pyongyang is ready to engage in "constructive dialogue" with the United States, provided that Washington agrees to sign a final peace treaty.
