The accusations by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin that Russia is allegedly training Islamic State militants has no common sense, the director of the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Department on Issues of New Challenges and Threats said.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Earlier Klimkin blamed Russia for training ISIL militants on Ukraine’s 24 television channel by saying that “Russia knows them well, understands their world outlook, has trained them to a great extent.”

“This falls into Kiev’s currently popular ‘doctrine’ that wherever something bad is happening, it’s Russia’s fault,” Ilya Rogachyov told RIA Novosti in an interview.
