    Iran's Nuclear Program Amid Western Sanctions (551)

    A resolution on Iran following Tuesday's nuclear agreement was officially submitted to the United Nations Security Council on Wednesday, Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN Vitaly Churkin said.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Churkin said that he expected the Security Council to unanimously adopt the resolution.

    "The document was today officially submitted to the UNSC," Churkin told Rossiya-24 television.

    On Tuesday, Iran and the P5+1 group of countries — China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom, the United States and Germany – announced a final comprehensive agreement on Tehran's nuclear program in exchange for sanctions' relief.
