Russian, Chinese FMs Discuss SCO, BRICS on Sidelines of Iran Talks
15:08 GMT 13.07.2015 (Updated: 05:41 GMT 30.04.2023) Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi discussed the recent SCO and BRICS summits on the sidelines of Iran nuclear talks in Vienna on Monday, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The two ministers also expressed their willingness to help find a mutually acceptable solution to the Iranian nuclear issue, according to the statement.
"The two sides exchanged views on the outcomes of the BRICS and Shanghai Cooperation Organization summits in Ufa on July 8-10 and agreed to continue close coordination of efforts to ensure the sustainable and effective functioning of these international formats," the ministry said in a statement.
