Germany hopes Iran and the P5+1 group of world powers will be able to strike a nuclear agreement by July 13, German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said Friday.

VIENNA (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, both the European Union and the United States extended sanctions relief for Iran until July 13 amid the ongoing nuclear talks in Vienna.

"I hope so. We all hope so," Steinmeier said, asked by RIA Novosti if a nuclear deal is possible within this timeframe.
