VIENNA (Sputnik) — The two politicians met for bilateral talks on the sidelines of Iran nuclear negotiations in Austria's capital Vienna.

"In accordance with a previously reached agreement after John Kerry's visit to Sochi, we agreed to continue our contacts on the Ukraine crisis," Lavrov told reporters.

The sides will work to cooperate though channels previously agreed by the two countries' presidents, namely between Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin and US Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland, the minister added.
