Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that speculating on the completion date of the negotiations is unnecessary, when asked whether the participants will manage to finish the agreement on Iranian nuclear program by 30th June.
According to him, the work is more important than the completion date and it should continue without “reading tea leaves” over how long it will take.
“The prospects of ending the talks to resolve the Iranian nuclear program in due time should be secondary in comparison to resolving the problem itself,” said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Friday, reports ministry of foreign affairs.
He further said that there is no need for guesswork right now. Everyone is working and doing everything to make it happen. He added that the work should be done and that it is best not to focus on whether the negotiations date will have to be extended or not.
