Moldovan Prime Minister Accused of Forging High School, College Diplomas
Earlier, Deschide.md reported that Moldovan authorities had launched an investigation into media claims that Moldovan Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici may have forged his high school and college diplomas.

The scandal with regard to Gaburici's education credentials broke out in April. Following the reports, members of parliament from the Liberal Party sent a request to the Ministry of Education to clarify the situation concerning Gaburici's diploma.

"Yesterday, I was summoned to the Prosecutor General's Office with regard to the education documents' case. You know this happened following my statements that certain officials need to resign. I am officially announcing my resignation."
